Janice Boughton, M.D.

Janice is a primary care internist in Moscow, Idaho, and has been increasingly interested in projects that might make our local and world community healthier. She has been active in community-based health care reform and has traveled in Thailand and Haiti with a special interest in appropriate and effective medical practice in resource-limited cultures. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in Psychology and completed medical training at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the University of Washington. She has two teenage kids and a large black dog, enjoys hiking and meditation as well as singing and playing guitar in various small groups and choirs.
Louise-Marie Dandurand, Ph.D.
Louise-Marie is a plant pathologist and botanist, whose interests focus on ecologically sound approaches to crop production and environmental management, in both developing and developed countries. Her other interests include mycology and medicinal plants. Louise-Marie received her undergraduate degree in Botany from the University of Vermont, her M.S. in Plant Science from University of Connecticut, and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of California at Riverside. She enjoys skiing, hiking, and exploring wild places.
Nancy Maxeiner, RN, DVM
Nancy is retired veterinarian who lives in Viola, Idaho. After closing her clinic in Moscow, Idaho she began dedicating part of her time to international health care for both animals and humans. She travels to Haiti, Equador and Zimbabwe as a Veterinarian and as a Surgical Nurse. She received her RN degree from the University of Hawaii and her DVM from Washington State University. She enjoys riding her horses in the summer, and snowboarding (hard booting) in the winter.

Ryan Law, M.F.A.
Ryan is an artist who also teaches swimming and yoga at the University of Idaho. She serves on the boards of Palouse Studio Potters and Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute, and is a member of Moscow’s Volunteer EMT Department. Ryan also is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, and spends much of her time caring for sick, orphaned and injured wildlife. Ryan received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, and also holds a M.S. degree in Physiology and a M.F.A. degree in Art. She enjoys running, biking, rafting, and most other outdoor activities.
